It is with great sadness that I have to report the sudden and unexpected passing of Chris Turnbull at his home in Wylan, Northumberland, on October 17th.
Chris joined John Lilley & Gille in 1975 and eventually bought the majority of the shareholding in 1993. Chris continued to run the business until 1999.
During that time, he was an active member of CNITA and continued to be so, long after his retirement.
Chris was a great help to me after I joined John Lilley & Gillie and his words of wisdom and advice were always appreciated.
I am sure that all members will join me in sending our deepest condolences to his wife Billie at this very sad time.
He will be very sadly missed.
